Claire's is a LEED Platinum certified building and green restaurant. That means that they use sustainable building practices, they recycle, and have no plastic containers.
I had pancakes. They were fluffy and very good. They had lemon on them -- I'm sure you can get lemon on the side. I want you to go to this restaurant. They serve breakfast and lunch.
Notes from Phineas: They have really good pancakes. They had cinnamon in them. I also liked the breakfast sausages. I liked the edible landscaping and the solar power.
Our goal is to highlight San Diego restaurants that are KID and family friendly. I'm an 12 year old kid and have an 9 year old brother and we like trying new FOODS

Local Habit
This is a restaurant with style. Most of the wood is reclaimed. It is a very green restaurant.
So, now let's cut to the chase: IT IS VERY GOOD!! Very green and all locally sourced ingredients.
I got pasta with Enoki and Oyster mushrooms, walnuts and cheese. It was a textural explosion! We shared a pizza with chicken sausage and pickled zucchini with a thin crust.
We had very good customer service.
Notes from Phineas: My and sister and I got a very good Mac and Cheese made with Gouda. I like how the cheese was crisp on top. I liked how the water cups were actually jars and the lamps were made out of old beer bottles.

Harar Ethiopian food
A very good restaurant, but I have not had Ethiopian food before so I have nothing to compare to this type of food to. There are meat and veggie dishes. It is like Indian food. I got a lamb dish and my brother got a veggie, cabbage, potato and green beans dish. You eat with your hands and with a special type of bread like a giant crepe, called enjira. Some of it is spicy, but not all of it. The veggies were very good!
