The Flying Pig
The Flying Pig is a gastropub in Oceanside. I went there with my Dad. They have a nice charcuterie plate, a sampling of cured meats, cheeses and pickled vegetables. Our plate had also honey and pickled squash. For the main course, I got a burger with mushrooms and onions. The garlic fries were delicious. The restaurant is very cool looking inside and there is neat art work. The menus are made out of old vinyl record sleeves that look cool. I would go back to this gastropub again.

While I'm not one to eat much meat, I am one who appreciates a good garlic fry. This sounds like a fun place to go out! Did you happen to notice if there were any vegetarian options? With a name like The Flying Pig, I could probably make a pretty good guess :) Just thought I'd ask, though.
